Dear Robyn and Skippy,
Recently I went through a divorce and did my rebound time, but now I am looking for something more stable. I joined an online dating site and met someone who I wound up dating for three weeks. I was really into him at first but he turned out to be a know-it-all. He was the kind of guy who didn’t care what you had to say about anything because no matter how much you knew on ANY subject, he “knew” more. He made me feel stupid every time I opened my mouth and never listened to anything I had to say. He had to go so, I simply told him it was not working for me anymore and that I wasn’t interested in furthering our relationship.
Now he wants to meet and talk about what happened. I don’t feel like I owe him an explanation. I don’t want to be his shrink and go on and on about how blindly arrogant he acts. It was only three weeks of dating, which, in my mind, doesn’t warrant more of an explanation than “we are done.” He wont let it go. What should I do?
