Dear Robyn and Skippy,

I have been married for about two years now and we have had a wonderful marriage so far. My husband came to me recently and told me that he thinks he is bisexual. I must say that I wasn’t completely shocked but I was under the impression that when you get married you chose a partner for life, no matter which of the sexes you chose. Then he asked me if I would be OK with him experimenting with other guys. We talked about it and in the end I told him that I would be fine with it. I lied. I don’t know what to do. I can’t believe this is happening to me. I want him to be happy but not at the cost of my own happiness. I fear that if I tell him I am not OK with him running around with other guys that he will just do it anyway behind my back. Maybe this is just a phase or maybe it is something more real than that. What should I do?

Thanks,

Miserable in Marriage
