Dear Robyn and Skippy,

I went on a date the other night with a girl I met on a dating site.   It was an experience that made me reflect on what I want.  I showed up early, found a good table and waited for her to come.  When she got there she was as pretty as her pictures and a bit nervous, I was too.  We talked for a long time, had an awesome time and 6 hours later I kissed her goodnight.

It was a great date, except for a couple of things. She doesn’t like video games, she’s not really into technology, doesn’t drink as much as I do and I think she wants something long term.  I don’t know that I am ready for that.  I mean I want something long term eventually, but I want it to start out in the “short term” range of things.  I feel like I may be over analyzing things.  I should be way more into her than I am, I mean, we had a great date!  Should I ask her out again or would that be leading her on?  Are my expectations too high?  I think she is what I want but I just don’t know.

Help!

Question Of The Week: Why Am I Not That Into Her? — 1 Comment

  1. I am sure this girl took one long look at this immature, game playing, drinking “man” and decided she just has to marry him tomorrow… or else she changed her phone number and got off the dating site….
