Dear Robyn and Skippy,

I am a girl who happens to have a guy for a best friend. Not only is he my best friend, but he is my oldest friend. We are so close, that he was even my ‘man of honor’ in my wedding. My problem is this: every time he gets a new girlfriend, he becomes a dick to me. Not only that, but he rarely has time for me and when he does, he invites his new girlfriend along without even asking me. We had plans this weekend and he decided to take the liberty of inviting her along. I finally put my foot down, this has been going on for many years, and told him how I felt. I didn’t call names, I didn’t point fingers, I just told him that I was tired of always being put on the back-burner whenever he gets a shiny new toy. Now he won’t talk to me. What should I do?
